THRIVE: Clubs & Activities Guide - Drama Club


“No matter. Try again. Fail again. Fail better” - Samuel Beckett

Drama Club is an afternoon of playbuilding, improvisation and skill building that has no prerequisite! Student’s learn to express themselves in creative ways within a safe environment where ‘failure’ doesn’t exist. Students in years 7 and 8 are welcome to come along. We keep it casual and fun but most of all we celebrate each other’s special gifts, talents and quirks.

Years 7 - 8. 

When is this activity happening?

Tuesday afternoons 3.15pm-4.15pm 

Starting Week 3

A1-11

What will students learn to do?


Students will learn to:

  • Be positive

  • Be confident

  • Be inclusive

  • Be disciplined 

  • Be collaborative

  • Be empathetic

  • Be creative in problem solving

  • Build effective communication skills and public speaking skills

  • Work as a team in a team oriented and safe environment

Extra Information:

Students are also encouraged to bring a comfortable change of clothes to increase their freedom of movement and comfort.
