We are excited to announce that the CEM Prize 2024 is now open for entries! The CEM Prize, hosted by the Christian Education Ministry group, is a prestigious art competition focusing on portraiture. This competition invites students from participating schools to showcase their artistic talents and creativity. Students will have the chance to showcase their artwork in the annual Virtual Exhibition, celebrated within the Christian Education Ministries (CEM) community.
Important Changes:
This year, there is no 'ACC Marsden Park Prize.' Instead, we are part of a larger group of schools contributing to the CEM Portraiture Prize.
For MAD Night, ACC Marsden Park students can drop off their physical artworks at the Primary or Secondary Hub by Monday 5 August, for display at MAD night (being held on Tuesday 6 August). These artworks will be returned afterwards. Please note: This is separate from the CEM Prize, which requires digital entry.
Digital Entry Pack:
Please CLICK HERE for 'The CEM Prize Entry Forms'. This pack includes all the necessary details and guidelines for entering the CEM Prize.
Submission Requirements:
Students must email a high-quality photograph of their artwork and the completed entry form to skyemorrison@acc.edu.au with the subject line: (student name) - The CEM Prize 2024 Entry.
Parents or teachers can submit on behalf of students, ensuring the email subject line follows the form: [student name] - The CEM Prize 2024 Entry.
Follow Guidelines:
It is essential that students follow these guidelines exactly. For instance, entries without a photograph of the artwork will be disqualified. Due to the number of participating schools, we are unable to follow up on entries that do not meet these requirements.
We encourage all interested students to participate and showcase their artistic talents in this exciting competition. Please ensure that you review this information thoroughly and share it with your child. For more information, you can visit the CEM Prize webpage.
Thank you for your support in making this year’s CEM Prize a success!
